He runs the Swarm Systems Lab. He is a Ramón y Cajal researcher in Computer Engineering, Automation and Robotics (ICAR) and at the Institute of Mathematics of Granada (IMAG), University of Granada.
He is a recipient of the ERC Starting Grant, associate editor of the IEEE Transactions on Robotics, and a proud developer of the open-source drone project Paparazzi.
